Laos Bronze Age
1300-500BC
Laos

The Bronze Age of Laos was a time of great change in the region. The Lao people transitioned from hunter-gatherers to farmers and herders. They also began to develop bronze metallurgy. One of your ancestors may have been a Lao farmer who cultivated rice and vegetables in the valleys of Laos. Another of your ancestors may have been a Lao herder who raised pigs and water buffalo in the mountains of Laos.
